ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP):Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Tuesday said that Center is spending huge amount to help facilitate the farmer community of Balochistan region.
A heavy amount was provided to farmer community so that they could convert tube-wells into solar energy, he said while talking to PTV.
The federal and Punjab governments had also allocated sufficient funds to extend relief to people in electricity sector, he added.
All available resources are being utilized to facilitate the people of provinces, he stated. The funds were provided to provinces through NFC award, he said.
Reply to a question about role of Pakistan Peoples Party in Sindh, he said that PPP leadership had started work on health, and housing sector to address the issues of the people.
He also urged the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa to utilize funds for addressing genuine grievances of the masses living in the provincial areas.
